Engagement Reporting
Engagement with our stakeholders — from local communities and Indigenous Peoples to investors and customers — helps to enhance our mutual understanding of interests, concerns and aspirations and to strengthen relationships throughout the mining life cycle. Our direct engagement of stakeholders is organized into three broad levels: information disclosure, dialogue and participation. All such engagement is informed by the AA 1000 principles of inclusivity, materiality and responsiveness.
Each year, we report publically on our performance in sustainability and progress against our goals in our annual sustainability report. Available in English and Spanish, our report describes our management and performance in the economic, social and environmental topics that are most material to our stakeholders and to our business. We also promote this material through our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and create dynamic videos for both internal and external stakeholders.
The majority of our sustainability data, is rolled up into a spreadsheet for ease of reference for external stakeholders and communities to access. This Sustainability Performance Data spreadsheet, available on our website, includes data on our waste management, recycling, environmental compliance, water management, air emissions management, reclamation activities and more.
Our Annual Report provides complete details on our financial and operational performance and our Economic Contributions Report is our annual independent report of payments to governments and other economic contributions.
Our work in this area is externally verified by an independent third-party every year. Learn more in our sustainability report.
