Edward C. Dowling

Edward C. Dowling was first appointed to the Board of Teck in September 2012. Mr. Dowling is an Alumni Fellow of Pennsylvania State University, having received a BSc. in Mining Engineering, an MSc in Mineral Processing, and a PhD in Mineral Processing. He has more than 30 years of experience in the mining industry and was previously President and Chief Executive Officer of Alacer Gold Corp. from 2008 to July 2012. He is currently the Chairman of Copper Mountain Mining Corporation and a Director of Compass Minerals International, Inc.
